My coach LISTENS to what I want first. Then evaluates where I am at and sets REASONABLE expecations. Develops a kick-ass programming that will get me where I want to go AND at the same time, KICKS my ASS when it needs to be - if I'm not listening to Coach whether to rest or give more to my training. And most importantly, is there to encourage when I'm down and out and obesssing about some small (ok- not so small) lift. THANKS DUTCH! A bit late in responding but here’s my 2cents.

Good coaching to me is taking what your given and developing maximum genetic potential and then adding on top of that what we can't explain, development of the human spirit beyond our own capacities...
