Dutch,

What do you think of "heavy" METCONs? Are they useful? Do they develop strength? Is it better to let your METCONs be lighters ith the emphasis on power (the balance between loads, distance and time) and let strength training be separate? Thanks,

Pat M

First off, I just wanted to tell you great job on the DVD!! I just got it in the mail a couple of days ago and I love it!! I can't wait to get more time to break it down and really learn everything I can from it.

For topics - Should we attempt to train a few skills/lifts pretty consistently for a cycle and then maybe choose another set of skill/lifts to kind of focus on? Or just randomly choose some different skills to train before each workout? I see some affiliates that don't seem to really train a specific skill very consistently (o lifts, power lifts or gymnastics, etc) even though they otherwise structure their workouts like you've been recommending (warmup, skill work followed by a short metcon and then stretching/cooldown).

I don't know if you wrote on this topic or not. I didn't find your blog until August or so. Would you share about your experiences at the Games at regionals? What was different from 08 and 09, how you handled those changes? And your feelings on 2010 based on what info you have to date!

Dutch, on more of an affiliate question and since you've been around the block on this issue; what have you seenwork the best for training and compensating trainers? We are in the early stages of this and wanted to start off on the right foot.

Thanks
