Hey everyone!
Sorry for the lack of content this week. I am doing alot of traveling this week.
The only thing i have to say, and its urgent is: Go work on your snatch. When you finish that, Clean and Jerk. When thats perfect i will watch you on TV in the olympics.
Seriously its time to start practicing. If you don’t put time in on the olympic lifts and gymnastics skills you have already failed as a Crossfitter.

Good stuff here, Dutch. Simple but try. If I may ask, did any particular incident spark this, or just a general feel of the way people are/are not training?
Sorry, that was supposed to say “simple but true*.”

No names or finger pointing needed. Think of it more like an over arching observation.
Why you guilty?
Way to light a fire under my ass Dutch! For pre-WOD oly lifting, what would you recommend as an array of reps/sets?
I second Nigel’s question…
I would recommend keeping sets between 3 and 5 per exercise.
For the Olympic lifts I would keep reps below 3 and vary the intensities.
Dutch: I really like the snatch balance for practice in the snatch. Coach B told me to NOT power clean/snatch for 4 months until I got heavier as I tend to power everything. Miss ya dude! See ya at the games!
Dutch,
Though I am guilty of many silly things, neglecting my Olympic lifting is certainly not one of them. I love a good snatch.

What’s your recommendation on Rest and Frequency around Strength/O-Lift training? Example:
Monday, June 8:
- Cleans
- Sets of 5, 5, 5, 3, 3, 3
Friday, June 12:
- Cleans
- Sets of 3, 3, 3, 1, 1, 1
Wise to train the same lift with these reps counts in the same week 4 days apart? Your take on this….?
