Interviews and stuff

February 26, 2009

So in my travels i have met many of the Crossfit Giants and become pretty good friends with most of them. I want to bring their knowledge to you. I am going to embark on an interview circuit to find out what makes these crossfitters do what they do. I am going to dig into their programming and get you what works. Since i am in Park City, Chirs Spealer is first. If you have any questions you would like for Chris to answer post them here and i will get them to him tomorrow or Friday.

    Chris,
How much of a role do “other sports” play into your everyday training? (ex. Climbing, biking, skiing, etc.) On days that you “leisure sport”, do you train using Crossfit also?

    Thanks Chris,

i wouldn’t even know where to start with questions…i’m sure Speal has heard (and answered) them all. i think it would be interesting for you to post any questions that you, personally, had for Speal. maybe that will garner up some unique information!

I love the idea of traveling and meeting up with great CrossFit trainers and athletes. I bet it is going to be a great experience!

As for questions for Speal (I hope I am not too late): after the run at the games he stated that he did not train running because he does not like to run. Does he consider attending (or has he already attended) an endurance/running cert that might help him get over something that he is not used to liking? As a background: I do not like to run at all and that is exactly why I signed up for a running cert. I feel the more I know about it and the better I get at it the more I will enjoy it. (Maybe that is different if you do not like it and still are a great runner like Speal – which I am not…).
